If you’ve taken a stroll through Stanhope Park in Holsworthy this week, you might have noticed things looking a little brighter. We are delighted to announce that the Academic Facilities Services team has been hard at work installing a brand-new rubber safety surface in the play area.
While the primary goal of the new surfacing is to enhance safety - providing a high-quality, impact-absorbing base for little adventurers - we also wanted to make this much-loved community space as inspiring as it is secure.
Vibrant aesthetics: The new colours breathe fresh life into the park, making it a more inviting destination for families.
Enhanced durability: This professional-grade rubber is built to withstand the British weather and years of heavy foot traffic.
Accessibility: The smooth, level surface ensures that the park remains accessible for strollers and wheelchairs alike.
Next time you’re in Holsworthy, bring the kids down to test out the new surface!
Here's a before shot for comparison...
